Eric D. DeNure, a native of Brookings, South Dakota, attended college at Oregon State University, graduating in 2003 with a B.S. in Economics. He returned to South Dakota and received his juris doctorate from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2008. While in law school, he served on the Client Counseling and Negotiation Board and for two years acted as the Deans' Graduate Assistant. Following law school, Eric completed a one-year clerkship for the Circuit Court Judges of South Dakota's Second Judicial Circuit. Eric joined the law firm of May & Johnson, P.C. in August of 2009. His primary practice is civil litigation with a focus on insurance defense. Eric is a member of the South Dakota Bar Association, the Second Circuit Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
